09:00 – Arrival and Gathering of Participants
Meeting point in Vlora, where the tour guide will welcome you and provide an overview of the day’s itinerary.
09:30 – Visit to the Independence Museum
Start the day with a short visit to the Independence Museum, where you will learn about the history of Albania’s declaration of independence.
10:30 – Boat Trip to Sazan Island (Approximately 30-minute journey)
Depart from Vlora’s port and take a boat trip to Sazan Island. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea during the journey.
11:00 – Exploring Sazan Island
Discover the island’s historical military fortifications, bunkers, and untouched natural landscapes. Take a short hike or opt for a kayaking excursion to explore the coastline up close.
12:30 – Lunch Break on Sazan Island
Enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant on the island, where you can taste traditional Albanian dishes, including fresh seafood specialties.
14:00 – Return to Vlora and Beach Time
After lunch, take the boat back to Vlora and head to the beach for a short relaxation break. Enjoy the soft sand and crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
15:30 – Visit to Vlora’s Promenade and Flag Square
Conclude the tour with a visit to Vlora’s promenade and a walk around Flag Square, where you can admire some of the most stunning views of the city and the sea.
16:30 – End of the Tour
The tour concludes, and participants return to the gathering point.
We went on a one-day trip from Tirana to Theth with Billy from the Choose Balkans agency, and we highly recommend it to everyone! Billy is an excellent guide and travel companion. He answers every question in an engaging way and shares his knowledge about life, culture, nature, and the economy of Albania. He drives very well and safely. Our journey to Theth included stops at beautiful viewpoints for photos. We enjoyed a pleasant time in the national park and went hiking along the Black Creek to the Blue Eye in Theth. The views were breathtaking – a must-see! On the way back, we visited Shkodër, a beautiful city with a view of Lake Shkodër. It was an amazing day spent in great company. We highly recommend trips with Billy and the Choose Balkans team!
We had such a great experience! Sirma was super helpful in organizing everything ahead of time, and on the day of our winery and Durrës tour, Brikena was there with us to make sure everything went smoothly. Our group of 14 felt really well taken care of the whole time. Big thanks to our awesome driver Jolent and our guide Ilir – both were super friendly and made the day fun and stress-free. A very warm welcome, a very simple and efficient check-in. Apartment very clean and above all very beautiful, the famous bathtub has a lot of charm both on the photos and in real life! We have spent a very nice time at our trip with Bilbil from Choose Balkans from Tirana to Teth. We ordered the trip a day before and it took place eventhough we were the only ones to participate. The guide was very kind and caring. We felt very much appreciated and taken care for. The guide also answered all our sometimes really strange questions re. Albania, its nature, economy and history. We visited Teth which is wonderful place where you can really enjoy nature. Due to weather conditions we couldn't visit some of the planned places but the guide simply found something with which we could replace it.
